On Saturday, March 23, 2013 the museum hosted a conference on NaProTechnology. The date of the meeting was not accidental, it was associated with the Defenders of Life Pilgrimage to Jasna Gora.
In the conference participated archbishop Wacław Depo, who gave the initial word and gave the audience his pastoral blessing.
The main promoter of this field of science is dr. Antoni Zieba - Vice President of the Polish Federation of Pro-Life Movement "Pro-Life".
On March 18, 2013, Jan Pietrzak, a comentator of political and social adventures of the society performed in our museum.
Jan Pietrzak has consistently entertained and moved the next generations of Poles. It was no different last night. From the first moments of the show our guest grabbed the audience and kept their attention until the last notes of the legendary anthem "Let Poland be Poland."
On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, our museum was visited by Portuguese delegation from Fatima who came to Czestochowa in cooperation between the "Marian cities".
On Monday, February 18, 2013 there took place another meeting in the series "With John Paul II to the future." The guest of the evening was Jan Machniak - a catholic priest, professor of Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow, author of many books on theology. He was also a member of the historical commission to investigate the documents at the time of Cracow phase of the beatification process of John Paul II.
Our museum expanded its collections with a special exhibit - a meteorite from the Moon.The meteorite is a piece of basalt rock, found in the Libyan Desert on 10 March 1998 year, weighing 1.425 kg. The stone is called the "Dar al Gani 400".
In the evening, January 18, 2013 at the Museum of Coins and Medals of Pope John Paul II there was a meeting in the series "With John Paul II to the future" and the invited guests were: Mariusz Drapikowski with his wife Grazyna.
On December 30, 2012 the Museum was visited by special guests - a prominent lawyer Carlo Taormina with his wife, Celestina. He had the honor to meet Pope John Paul II several times, because of his position of the Ministry of Defence Secretary.
On 3 November 2012 Director of the Museum of Coins and Medals of Pope John Paul II, Krzysztof Witkowski and his wife paid a visit to Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz.
