It happens that our Museum is open on an unusual time. Yesterday, just before midnight our guests were Mr. Paolo Poli and his wife. Mr. Paolo is an Italian sculptor, with whom the management of the Museum talked on the creation of the figure of John Paul II, which will be the pride of our building. What are the effects we'll see soon.
On Tuesday 3 July, Ms. Nadra Rais - Drije, Ambadasor Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambasador of the Republic of Tunisia in Poland came to the Museum of Coins and Medals of Pope John Paul II to meet young people taking part in the knowledge competition on Tunisia, organized by the School of Economics in Czestochowa.
Archbishop accompanied by priests looked at our museum collections, and then made an entry in the guest book. We are pleased that more and more guests visit us from abroad, which shows the growing popularity of the Museum of Coins and Medals, not only in Poland but in the world.
On May 23 the Museum was visited by Archbishop Stephen Reichert from Diocese of Madang in Papua New Guinea, along with Father Martin Gladysz one of the Polish missionaries working in Papua. We are very pleased that the information of our museum had already reached the furthest corners of the globe.
