Pope Day in the Museum.
From 18 March 2012, every 18th of the month, whatever day of the week, Pope Days will be held in our Museum. During regular meetings work, pilgrimages and holy life of Pope John Paul II will be recalled.
We will invite eminent people, who met the Polish Pope. All interested people are invited. Our doors are open to all initiatives associated with John Paul II. We invite you to contact us and cooperation.

On Friday, December 23, museum staff and friends gathered to celebrate Christmas Eve. The guest of honor was Archbishop Stanislaw Nowak, who has blessed Christmas wafer. On the occasion of this festive meeting, Archbishop Nowak and prior of Jasna Gora Monastery Father Sebastian Matecki received a gift from Mr Zbigniew Gretka of Ceramics Paradyż in the form of the image of Pope John Paul II. During Christmas Eve celebration, we hosted the director of Radio Jasna Gora - father Kamil Szustak. After the official part, we were singing carols to the accompaniment of youth bands.
On Saturday December 17 we hosted Orion Tv at our Museum, which recorded Christmas music video by Nefre. Museum friends were invited to participate in this enterprise. After recording, we all sat down together at the Christmas table.

On Saturday 10 December, we celebrated one of our cyclical cultural evenings in our museum. This time it was "Japan - myths and realities". Numerous guests had the opportunity to learn some history and culture of the Country Cherry Blossoms. The guests listened to the interesting presentations on law, history and religion as well as the everyday life of this very exotic country for us.
To celebrate the upcoming Christmas, Museum of Coins and Medals of John Paul II in Częstochowa prepared a little surprise for you. On the left side below the main menu something new appeared. It is the electronic version of the catalog documenting the exhibition of coins and medals at the Royal Castle in Warsaw in 2006 (shared directory contains only pictures of medals).
On 25th November I All Manner Song Contest was organized on the stage of our museum by Primary School No. 12 The competition was won by a student from Elementary School No. 2, Paulina Zegota with Amy Winehouse song "Mercy".
After the competition, President of the company Mr. Krzysztof Witkowski, invited all guests to see the museum's collections.
The organizers have announced the continuation of this events in next years.
Annual Medals are valuable exhibits commemorating the anniversaries of the pontificate. In case of John Paul II 26 medals of that type were revealed . They are issued in three ore versions: gold, silver and bronze. In our collection you will find most of the annual medals of the Polish Pope. However, we do not have them all. Therefore, we invite to cooperation all who are in possession of such medals, to make them available, or resale. The searched annuals can be found in the expansion of the article.
On Saturday, November 5 a meeting promoting the book by Joanna and Jack Wrona "Faith works miracles" was held in our museum. The invited guests could hear fragments of the book, and thanks to the presence of father Kamil Szustak, director of Radio Jasna Góra, pay tribute to John Paul's relics (a lock of hair of our Pope).
