On Wednesday, September 18th at the museum we held another meeting in the series "With John Paul II to the future", which guest was editor-in-chief of the weekly "Sunday" - Father mitred prelate Monsignor Ireneusz Skubis, chaplain for students, Vice-President of the Episcopal Commission for Culture and Social Communications, a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
On August 22nd we hosted representatives of the Board of Directors of the Knights of Columbus. They are: Mike O'Connor - a member of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council, Szymon Czeszek - lawyer of the Supreme Council and Leszek Waksmundzki - consultant to the Supreme Council for the development of the Knights of Columbus in Poland.
On Thursday, July 18 we held in our museum a meeting under the motto: "With John Paul to the future," which was led by the famous Polish numismatist, Mr. Bernard Marek Adamowicz, a collector from Legnica, the owner of the beautiful medals with Pope John Paul II.
"John Paul II. Medals. And what's next ... "- this is the theme that prevailed during the meeting.
On the 11th of July at a meeting of the city council, the museum director Krzysztof Witkowski received from the President of Czestochowa Christopher Matyjaszczyk - a badge of honor "Merit for Polish Culture" given to him in May by Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland - Bogdan Zdrojewski.
Since the 4th of July visitors at the museum can see an exhibition of paintings by local artist - Bartosz Frączek. The presented set of the works come from the series entitled: 'Places seen ". These are paintings inspired by the cities the author visited during his many travels.
