Marcin Jonas Krawczyk - Polish actor, screenwriter and director with a visit to the Museum

Today, in our Museum we hosted a Polish film and television actor, screenwriter and director - Marcin Jonas Krawczyk,  who arrived in the company of his friend father Sebastian Matecki - the prior of Jasna Góra Monastery.

The arrival of the actor to Czestochowa is not accidental, he has written and directed a very moving documentary "Mother 24h", which presents a journey through Poland of  the image of Our Lady of Czestochowa, known as the "Black Madonna". His journey is an excuse to tell the stories of people in their homes where the icon stops. The film is an attempt to answer the question, what is faith in the context of the tragedy of life, suffering and helplessness. It is also the story of a Polish village and its traditions associated with the cult of the holy image. "Mother 24h" has already been shown on TV and won the first prize at the Festival of the Art of Fact in Torun.
We encourage you to see it.
