A meeting with the Pope’s friend

We're still impressed by yesterday's meeting with Mr. Eugeniusz Mróz, a friend of Karol Wojtyla from the school benches. Mr. Mróz is one of two still living friends of John Paul II, together with Mr. Stanislaw Jura.

The spiritual dimension of the meeting, this time went down a little into the background. The story of Mr. Mróz had a very personal dimension. Everyone listened with attention about the acting abilities of Karol Wojtyla, their trips and  tricks made to teachers.

Mr. Mróz  also drew attention to the multiculturalism of pre-war Wadowice, which did not result in antagonisms and mutual dislike to the neighbors of other nationalities.

Our guest was known not only as a great speaker, but also as a musician, when he gave a mini concert on the harmonica.
